Make the periods that a product wasn't in stock visible in the sale history graph. For example in a red color.
Now, when you look back, you can't see the difference. Was a product not sold because there was no interest in the product? Or wasn't it sold, because it simple wasn't in stock?

It would also be great not only to show but also take out of stock into consideration with new purchase orders. Make it pretend like it was in stock (by taking an average between the months) to predict future demand.
